The Samuel Morse Historic Site is the home of the artist and inventor of the telegraph and Morse code. House tours available May-Nov. Gardens and 5 miles of hiking trails (free) open daily 8am-dusk. Visitors Center 10am to 4pm. Limited winter hours. Grounds great for fun for entire family. Older kids would enjoy seeing the telegraph which was invented in the early 1800s. Fees for tours only.
